Factors That Can Be Changed

Some of the parameters with association to the diagnosis of prostate cancer risk are:

1. Diet: a male who eats a lot of dairy products or a diet with increased calcium intake, appears to have a slightly higher chance of getting prostate cancer.

7. Vasectomy has been also associated with an increased risk for prostate cancer, but other studies have not found this. Research on this possible link is still underway.
