Dr. Aggarwal developed a new paradigm to diagnose and treat patients with Wilson's Disease — creating a clinical scale to assess disease progression and treatment response that has been internationally adopted. Her research on Wilson's Disease MRI findings and clinical disability correlation is cited worldwide, representing a landmark contribution to the diagnosis and monitoring of this challenging neurological condition.

A patient with rare neuroacanthocytosis presenting with complex movement disorder was evaluated at the Memory and Movement Disorders Clinic and managed with Deep Brain Stimulation coordination — a case that became the subject of a Best Paper at the Indian Academy of Neurology Conference, reflecting the academic as well as clinical impact of Dr. Aggarwal's practice.
