Dr. Gautam Mukhopadhyay is a distinguished Senior Surgical Oncologist in Kolkata, recognised as one of the best in Eastern India. His rigorous foundation was built at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai, where he completed an extensive residency programme, gaining invaluable experience across various oncological sub-specialties. Dr. Mukhopadhyay is lauded for his high integrity and exceptional surgical skill. He has particular expertise in Head & Neck, Breast, Gastrointestinal, and Thoracic oncology surgeries. Beyond his clinical practice, he founded the Bengal Oncology Foundation (BOF) for cancer awareness and is a respected faculty member at national and international conferences, including those at his alma mater, TMH. He was honoured with the ‘Bishista Chikitsha Samman’ by the West Bengal Government in 2019.
